Weimar Republic

I hope this will be big. This is a part of the "metaarts movement", so any kinds of art are welcome. So for example it can be a brochure, a film, some computer graphics, sound poetry, visual poetry (or "text poetry"), or mixing of old things (for example taking an old poster or a text from those times in Germany, and making an abstract work or a collage out of it). Experiments, blending styles, mixes and other not average forms are welcome.

Haiku? Yes, please! 

An orchestral piece? Fine!

A picture of your dog? Well... these things should be related to the Weimar Republic, so if the dog stands on a map... No, don't do it.

Can I write it in my language? Any language is welcome!

Can it be abstract? If it fits the Weimar Republic subject, or is related with it somehow? Inspired by hiperinflation or by a youtube video about Weimar Republic? ok!

Please search for more specific subjects, related to Weimar Republic. Find a poet, a political figure, a story, a masterpiece or a small detail from Weimar Republic, and use it (or reuse it).

Sonnets or other poetic forms (but also free verse) - ok! Although I thought more about experiments, these are also perfecly fine. A sculpture? Yes! (or other visual arts). But maybe you would like to write an opera, involving singing, music, choreography and scenography (and some action too, perhaps)?

To be more realistic, perhaps let's concentrate on creating a brochure, a series of photos or a different interesting (but friendly for the audience) form of presentation. 

And what should I do with the thing I create for the project? - you ask. 

There will be three kinds of results of the project (all non-commercial):

1) This will be an album with sounds (sound poems/music), one of the Ensemble For Sound Poetry And Contemporary Music projects. The whole album will be presented on bandcamp. I would also like to make a short mix made with these sounds and place the result on youtube, but if you don't want me to use your work for this, it's also fine - just let me know. Please send your sound poem or musical work to pszren@wp.pl via WeTransfer.

2) I'll make a kind of theatre/film project (and this will be the second project of the theatre Kwiatharsis), so please film something (act something out, or film a sign or a drawing, or simply make a series of photos). But when you send them to me, please write that these are meant for the theatrical project, and not to be placed on this blog as a separate post. (Same as with the sound files, please send the files to pszren@wp.pl via WeTransfer). The result will depend on what you send me, it can become a TikTok video, or simply a youtube video.

3) Other projects. Prepare something and publish it somewhere (on your youtube channel, on your blog, or simply make photos and write a description and send it all to me - again, pszren@wp.pl). This part can be really interesting, it's all up to you! Create a new form of art, search, experiment, create something really good! Again - any kinds of art are welcome. If I receive enough material, I can create an anthology of some kind (a pdf file with images and texts).

So please send me a link (for example to your pdf file or to your blog post). I can embed a youtube video, so this can also work, but if you want the film or a series of photos to be a part of the film related to the theatre Kwiatharsis - send it to me via WeTransfer to pszren@wp.pl

Deadline: till the end of December 2020. By the way, I really suggest creating one big piece and not sending me a short email each week. All these are done really without too much free time, so please try to understand, and send me something really ready.
